About
Yiwen Dong
I am an incoming assistant professor at UIUC ISE (co-affiliated with ECE and CEE), and a current postdoc fellow at Stanford HAI, mentored by Prof. James Landay and Prof. Jessica Rose. I obtained my Ph.D. degree at the Structures as Sensors Lab at Stanford University, advised by Prof. Hae Young Noh. My undergraduate degree is obtained from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
My research aims to develop ambient intelligence that enables our everyday living spaces to sense, infer, and react to human health and well-being.
I am looking for 2-3 Ph.D. students for fall 2025. If you are interested, please contact me via yiwen@illinois.edu . Preferred background: data analysis, sensing, human-environment interaction.
